Hello, NPA Nation!
The world and foundation of professional athletics continues to change and evolve at an increasingly rapid pace. Part of the driving force behind these changes is the constantly growing number of athletes that have the ability to emerge, excite, and excel in their respective sport.
Here at Next Professional Athlete, we always have our eyes trained towards the future, on the lookout for the best and brightest looking to take their game to the next level. In this spirit, let’s take a look at some athletes that we’ve had our eye on — and that you won’t want to overlook.
Jazzy Davidson
Originating from Clackamas High School in Oregon, Jazzy Davidson has been making no small name for herself in the field of women’s basketball. She is currently committed to USC and is a three-time Gatorade Player of the Year award winner.
One thing that continues to stand out about Jazzy is her work ethic. In whatever sport one plays, at whatever level, the thing that sets the best athletes apart is their willingness and ability to take their efforts to the next level — a few extra hours of practice, a few more replays of game tape, and a whole lot of determination.
Trey Swygart
From Caldwell, Idaho, Trey Swygart is the latest standout in collegiate baseball. Playing for the University of Portland, Swygart has been praised for his ability and competitive spirit during his time at Portland. Swygart is even up for the prestigious John Olerud Award due to his exemplary play.
To put it succinctly, we see nothing but great things ahead for this promising up-and-comer.
Mary Stoiana
College tennis phenom Mary Stoiana is well on her way into the history books. Representing Texas A&M, Stoiana has been ranked as high as number 1 in NCAA Division I singles and doubles.
Despite her small beginnings, hailing from a small town in Connecticut, Stoiana has also won one singles and one doubles title in the ITF Women’s Tour. Stoiana is truly a testament to the idea that one can excel no matter where they start out.
Bryson Daily
A quarterback for the Army Black Knights, Bryson Daily is a phenom amongst his teammates, peers, and competitors. Daily recently set the FBS record for most rushing touchdowns in a season (32) and in 2024 was named the National Offensive Player of the Year by the National Quarterback Club.
While Daily must first fulfill his military obligations, there are few other obstacles in this athlete’s path to success on a professional level.
That’s all from us for now!
